Art & Craft Class Programme

A warm welcome to all art, creative writing and craft enthusiasts to Artforms Gallery & Studio's Art & Craft Class Programme. We have put together a fun and interesting programme for all ages. All our teachers are experienced in their field of knowledge and look forward to sharing with you their skills and talents in the pleasant and comfortable surroundings of Artforms Gallery & Studio.

For some of you this will be your first venture into the creative world... a special welcome to you. Perhaps this is your first time ever to take up a craft or skill, or indeed, you may have done it long in the past and feel that you have lost some of that creativity.

Our aim at Artforms Gallery & Studio is to allow our students to explore the world of art and craft in an enjoyable way, at their own pace, while developing confidence and knowledge in an openly creative manner. If you would like Artforms Gallery & Studio to offer a particular art or craft class we can also arrange this for you or your group. The Gallery space is your creative space. When you begin to explore the source of your own creativity... the possibilities are endless.

Course bookings cannot be guaranteed until full payment is received a minimum of 1 week prior to course start. This also applies to students who have been on previous courses. No exceptions can be made.

Oil Painting Improvers

This drawing and painting course is suitable for the more experienced or those who wish to brush up on their skills and learn some great new techniques. Drawing and painting a variety of subjects such as still life, landscape and figurative, mainly in oil, but also exploring pastel, watercolour, charcoal and pencil.

Painting & Drawing Advanced

This course is suitable for the more experienced artist. Students explore drawing skills, a variety of media and techniques using oils, acrylics, mixed media, watercolour, pastel and more. Introduction to art history by exploring techniques and works of well known artists.

Oil Painting Improvers

This drawing and painting course is suitable for the more experienced or those who wish to brush up on their skills and learn some great new techniques. Drawing and painting a variety of subjects such as still life, landscape and figurative, mainly in oil, but also exploring pastel, watercolour, charcoal and pencil.

Painting & Drawing Beginners / Improvers

Develop a good skill base in drawing and painting with this course. Students learn a variety of techniques and skills: colour mixing and application, sketching, oil painting, watercolour etc. A variety of subjects are covered including still life and landscape. Students need have no prior knowledge as they will be taken through each stage at a pace to suit their needs.

Develop and/or improve a good skill base in drawing and painting with this course. Students learn a variety of techniques and skills: colour mixing and application, sketching, oil painting, watercolour etc. A variety of subjects are covered including still life and landscape. Students need have no prior knowledge as they will be taken through each stage at a pace to suit their needs.

Childrens Art Class - Painting & Drawing

Children ages 7 - 14 years learn to develop their creative and artistic skills to a very high and mature standard. They are encouraged to depart from the more childish skills and embrace new 'grown- up' art such as pencil and charcoal sketching, oil painting, watercolour and acrylic painting and cover such subjects as still life, landscape and life drawing. Price includes materials. Students are required to bring a snack and an apron.

Fun Easter art, Crafts & Decorations for ages 7-12 years. Students bring their own lunch and wear an apron. The price includes all materials.
